Experience a joyful collision of music and movement! Merging a live concert with vibrant dance, Sunny is an explosion of ideas, new sounds and exuberant energy. Created by acclaimed choreographer, Emanuel Gat, and singer/performer, Awir Leon, this uplifting piece is a blast of pleasures, rich in changing moods and colours.

The movement evolves from the playful and sensual interactions of ten dancers. They respond to each other and to the soundtrack, which unfolds from Marvin Gaye’s song 'Sunny' and is performed live on stage by Leon, a shooting star of the Electronic Music scene. Gat masterfully intertwines the dancers’ individual phrases in a flowing free-form, moving them across the stage as if in chain reactions.

Emanuel Gat established his Bessie Award-winning company in 2004. He regularly creates choreographies for leading international dance companies including The Paris Opera Ballet and L.A. Dance Project.
