Emanuel Gat is an award-winning choreographer whose work has been celebrated across the world for 25 years. Since 2004 he has been the lead choreographer and artistic director of the Emanuel Gat Dance Company.
‘WORKS’ is a performance celebrating dancers themselves. Their uniqueness, virtuosity, engagement, fearlessness, sense of responsibility and humanity. A group of 10 dancers share the stage delivering a collection of seven short works that are presented in one stream of choreographic consciousness.
‘WORKS’ looks at the constant evolution of the manner in which dance is being produced and attempts to reveal the inner thoughts and processes of human behaviour.
Examining the role of the performer as an on-stage live creator, the show is constantly evolving and provides a unique experience each performance.
